The Master's course Computational Engineering has been accredited by ASIIN since 2010. The latest quality seal was awarded to CompEng on 24 June 2022 after a quality review by the ASIIN Accreditation Commission.

During the assessment, the accreditation commission visited the faculty and talked to the professors, the coordinators, and as well as to the students to evaluate the quality and standards of CompEng as a Master's programme. ASIIN is a partner of universities for accreditation of degree programmes in engineering, computer science, the natural sciences, mathematics and in teaching qualification. A successful accreditation confirms that a degree programme fulfils the given requirements of the commission and the programme will be awarded a quality seal for five years.
