General Aspects

Are you interested in applying for our master’s programme Computational Engineering? On the following pages we will guide you through the application process.

In order to apply for the international master’s course Computational Engineering at Ruhr-University Bochum, candidates must submit an application via our online application system. The application process is completely online, which means that you do not have to submit any documents by post. The online application system is generally open for applications from December.

The closing dates for online applications are:

• 15 May for citizens of non-European countries
• 15 July for citizens of the European Union

Please note that an application for the Master's programme Computational Engineering is only possible for the winter semester. Unfortunately, it is not possible to start the programme in the summer semester.
